The Nizzana Kennel Name is owned by Anne Barclay, her sister, Alison Byrne and Alison's partner, Ivan Kaye. It is a family concern with a small number of dogs and a big love of the breed, and have been Canaan Dog Breeders for a number of years, based in the south-east of England.

All our Canaan Dogs are family pets first and foremost, and visitors to our home are always welcome.

Our next Canaan Dog litter is planned for the end of 2010. Our Chefa (Chefa de Solemel) will be mated on her next season to Jill and Ian Terry's Cane (Babrees Crystal Hurricane).

Boaz is looking for a home

Boaz is a Canaan Dog in need of a new home. Born in August 2008, he is friendly and outgoing and seems to get along well with children and other dogs in a home situation. He is castrated and fully innoculated. He loves to play, needs a firm hand but with plenty of love and cuddles.

Puppies Due 15th July

We are delighted that our Megan will be expecting her first litter on or around the 15th of July, all being well. She was scanned and four or five puppies should be with us soon. We are so thrilled with this news.

Chefa will be mated on her next season around the end of Octobr this year as she has not taken this time round.

Megan and Dezi - Canaan Dog Puppies Expected

We are pleased to announce that yesterday Dezi (Babrees Desert Orchid via Caoilta) and Megan (Chaniah de Solemel avec Nizzana) were mated - we are expecting pupies around the 15th of July. This is again bringing two dogs togther with great temperament, health and type.
